American Cetacean Society conferences have a long tradition of presenting the latest findings and news about whales and other marine life. We also work to promote discussion and thought about the role and conservation of whales in an ever-changing world, and leave attendees motivated to work together for the good of the whales

Join us as we take a look at cetaceans’ borders from a wide range of viewpoints:

  • using science to understand their world,
  • close looks at a variety of threats to their world,
  • breaking down the conflict at the “Borders” with an overview of whaling,
  • borders we have created – political and cultural, as well as Marine Protected Areas, and
  • we will close the event with a look at our attempts to bridge the borders and those challenges and successes

American Cetacean Society conferences are open to everyone - you don't need to be in the field to participate. So come, be energized and enlightened, and immerse yourself in the world of "Whales Without Borders".
